Throughout the month of August, we are going to be taking a look at the things the early church was continually devoted to. That word, that is most often translated simply “devotion” is much more than that. It carries with it the idea of: “continually, intensely devoted and obstinately persistent to.” We are asking ourselves the question, can we describe our approach to each of these four things: The Apostles Teaching, Fellowship, Breaking of Bread & Prayer as continually, intensely devoted and obstinately persistent to.
