Easter is a fantastic time of year! Of course, we enjoy the easter egg hunts and other fun that comes around this day. But for us at SixEight Church, this day is THE day that changed them all. There are a lot of religious holidays. There are a lot of religions. But there is only one faith that has at it’s cornerstone a savior who was crucified and then on the third day rose from the dead.

“But, I don’t believe all that. So why should I go to SixEight Church on Easter?” Well, if you want to come just because that’s one of the two times a year you go to Easter, we would be honored to have you. But, if you don’t think you need to come, we would encourage you to come and prove us wrong. In fact, if you don’t believe what we talk about on Easter, you are welcome to come and just be a part of our welcoming community. We welcome you to be a part of our church even if you don’t believe.

What should I expect? We are a modern church. We have music that sounds like what you would hear on the radio. We don’t have an organ. We sing songs together. We have a time of teaching. There will be some other elements like video. And, first time visitors get a free espresso from Mocha 6:8!

We would be honored to have you join us this Easter, April 5th, to celebrate that story.

Some common questions we receive are:

Do I have to dress up?

You can if you want to, but you don’t have to. Most of our regular attenders wear jeans and t-shirts.

Do I have to be perfect to come to your church?

If you are perfect, please don’t come! We wouldn’t want you to mess up all our imperfection! We firmly believe that God only uses imperfect people, so if you’re not perfect that makes you the perfect person (or would that make you the imperfect person) to come to our church?

Will I be judged if I come?

Absolutely not. We don’t judge by anything. Our God is one who looks at the heart, not how we look on the outside. So, you can look however you want on the outside, and we won’t judge you at all. We’re just happy to have you come!
