We are thrilled to be a part of the Hazel Dell Parade of Bands this year! We wanted share with the Hazel Dell community all that we do at SixEight Church for our community. We are thrilled to be a part of Hazel Dell, and we want to help make a difference in this area!
There are a few things we are doing to try to accomplish that:
We are a church, we meet on Sundays at 10:00am!
You may be surprised to find out that SixEight Church is a church, but we are. Okay, maybe you’re not that surprised since it’s a part of our name. But we are. Well, we’re not surprised that we’re a church. We are a church. Okay, glad we got that straightened out. Our name comes from a verse in the Bible, Micah 6:8 – “He has shown you, o man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? But, to do justice, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” That’s the kind of people we want to be. People who do justice, love mercy and walk humbly. And we would be honored to have you join us on Sundays at 10:00 am. We are located at 8802 NW 9th Ave., Vancouver WA 98665
Community Ministries
We have several ministries that help meet needs in the Hazel Dell Community and beyond. Those are the Food Pantry, which is open every Tuesday from 4-7pm; Laundry Love which is the last Monday of each month; Fathers in the field and Chasing Supermom.
Other Ministries
We have other ministries you might be interested in as well. We have a kids program called 6:8 kids that meets on Sunday mornings during our service. We have a youth ministry for middle school & high school that meets on Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm. We have a men’s group that meets in the Man Cave on Monday evenings as well as other groups to get involved with.
Do Something To Make A Difference
We describe ourselves as a “Do something to make a difference” church. We desire for our people to be actively involved in doing something that makes a difference in our community. That’s the kind of church we want to be. We want our presence to be felt (in a good way). We want the Hazel Dell community to be thankful that we are a part of it.
If you’re looking for a place to get involved that is doing things that are making a difference in the community, we invite you to check us out! If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch with us at the Church office!
