Letting Go Of Limitations

12 March, 2019

Post By : David Lindner

We believe in you. We believe you have incredible potential. We’re not just saying that, we actually believe it to our core. You’re amazing. You have incredible worth and dignity. And you also have incredible potential. And we’re pretty sure you know that about yourself too.

However, knowing you have potential and taking steps towards it are two different things. One thing we know is that we tend to get in our own way. We have potential, but we end up tripping over ourselves. One of those things holding us back are limitations in our thinking.

That’s where we come in. We want to help you start moving towards your potential. We have some amazing “tools” at our disposal to help you. A community to support you (and a place for you to belong) as well as time-tested principles to live by.

We don’t have all the answers, no one does. But, we’ve learned quite a lot along our journey that we think could help you in yours. Not only that, we’re good problem solvers. So, one way or another, we’ll figure it out together.

What we know is, if you want something different you have to do something different. But even before you can do something different, sometimes you need to think differently.

Now, you don’t have to change anything. No one is forcing you. The choice is up to you. But, if you’re at all dissatisfied with where you are right now while at the same time not sure about how to move forward, well, doing nothing is about the worst thing you could do. What do they say about insanity?

But, if you want to change, we’re here to walk alongside you on your journey. And if you let us, we think we can help you start taking steps towards your God-given potential.

On March 31, 2019, we’ll be taking a look at some of the ways our thinking has limited our potential. We’d love to see you there!

I am blessed to be able to serve SixEight as the Lead Pastor. As a pastor, my first aim is to follow God, my primary ministry is to my wife and 4 kids. They are amazing! When it comes to our church family, I get the pleasure of leading our church to follow God. This is truly a gift that God has given to our family, and we are honored and humbled to serve Him in this capacity at SixEight!
