Micah 6:8: Do Justice, Love Mercy & Walk Humbly

You may have wondered where the name SixEight came from. Well, it comes from this verse in Micah 6:8: “He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? But to Do Justice, and to Love Mercy and to Walk Humbly with your God.”

That is the heartbeat of our church. We say, every Sunday, we are trying to be a church full of people who Do Justice, Love Mercy and Walk Humbly.

But, what does that mean? What does it mean to live your life in this way? And what about all the issues that the world is championing as issues of justice?

This is why we thought it was a good time to refresh ourselves on what it means to live the SixEight life. We invite you to listen in to this Core DNA talk.

I am blessed to be able to serve SixEight as the Lead Pastor. As a pastor, my first aim is to follow God, my primary ministry is to my wife and 4 kids. They are amazing! When it comes to our church family, I get the pleasure of leading our church to follow God. This is truly a gift that God has given to our family, and we are honored and humbled to serve Him in this capacity at SixEight!
