We invite you to join us in a time of reading and reflection together as a church. We are spending the final 68 days of 2016 reading God’s word together and discussing it. Read todays passage below and then join us for discussion in our Facebook Community Group!

Galatians 4:1-4 (NIV)

What I am saying is that as long as an heir is underage, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate. The heir is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father. So also, when we were underage, we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces of the world. Revelation 21:1-7 (NIV)

A New Heaven and a New Earth

21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[b] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.

I am blessed to be able to serve SixEight as the Lead Pastor. As a pastor, my first aim is to follow God, my primary ministry is to my wife and 4 kids. They are amazing! When it comes to our church family, I get the pleasure of leading our church to follow God. This is truly a gift that God has given to our family, and we are honored and humbled to serve Him in this capacity at SixEight!
