You’ve probably heard the term before. Maybe even used it. “I’m shopping for a church.” It’s become a pretty normal thing to hear in churches now-a-days. But, as we talk about in this session of “The Disciples Project,” we need to be committed to community. It’s not enough to attend church, we need to be in deep enough that we are being sharpened and pruned because of the community.

One of those key, uniting factors of the early church was prayer. As we read in Acts 2, they were devoted to prayer. If we are going to be a community of life change, a community that makes a difference in the world, then we also have to be a community that is devoted to prayer.
