bigger-yes-burning-inside-stephen-covey“You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the courage – pleasantly, smilingly, nonapologetically – to say no to the other things. And the way to do that is have a bigger yes burning inside.” Stephen Covey

“Courage is not living without fear, courage is being scared to death and doing the right thing anyway.” – Chae Richardson

While I do not agree with everything either of these authors say, they do lead us to a great point on the topic of Justice. The bigger yes and having the courage to live it out.

In this week’s talk, we discuss the idea, when justice isn’t based on truth it’s oppression. There are a lot of ideologies roaming around right now, but not all of them are based on truth. How do we know which ones to support and which ones to walk away from?

We had some fun with the idea of truth that you might want to check out as well!

I am blessed to be able to serve SixEight as the Lead Pastor. As a pastor, my first aim is to follow God, my primary ministry is to my wife and 4 kids. They are amazing! When it comes to our church family, I get the pleasure of leading our church to follow God. This is truly a gift that God has given to our family, and we are honored and humbled to serve Him in this capacity at SixEight!
