Vision Sunday – Message – 09-01-2013

02 September, 2013

Post By : David Lindner

This Sunday was a little different. Instead of having a typical Sunday with worship and a sermon, we stopped for a moment to hear from each ministry and what they’ve got coming up in the fall. Then we spent some time praying for each ministry.

At the end of the service we celebrated two baptisms which represent for us, the ultimate vision of what we have been called to do as a church. It was the perfect way to wrap up our 8 to 15 series, because that’s the goal with every one we are trying to reach. What a picture, being crucified with Christ. And it is no longer us who live, but Christ who lives in us.

I am blessed to be able to serve SixEight as the Lead Pastor. As a pastor, my first aim is to follow God, my primary ministry is to my wife and 4 kids. They are amazing! When it comes to our church family, I get the pleasure of leading our church to follow God. This is truly a gift that God has given to our family, and we are honored and humbled to serve Him in this capacity at SixEight!
