The last Sunday of our Christmas series, Elf, is this Sunday. To help funcourage you to bring someone, I thought I give you 10 quick reasons why you should actually do it!
1.) It’s Elf, Period.
Do I even need to make the rest of the list? How many churches can you go to and learn about God through the eyes of Buddy of elf?
2.) Two Words
Ugly Sweater.
3. Three Words
Christmas Goodie Exchange.
4.) Rekindle the hope you may have lost.
I wrote an article earlier this week about why we should all bring someone to church. In short, it’s the best way to rekindle the hope you may have lost. Read the article for more.
5.) Get a sneak peak at ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas
We will be showing a short clip of one of the videos for our Christmas Eve’s Eve service, ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas Eve. We’ve been preparing this service for quite some time now, and we’re really excited about it. See a little clip on Sunday morning.
6.) Don’t like Christmas, come and tell everyone Ba humbug.
It might feel a little awkward at first, but it would be kind of awesome!
7.) Tired? Kids driving you nuts?
Free coffee & Childcare!
8.) Paint a smiley face on the back of your head and sit in the front row.
Okay, it’s not really a reason, but it would be kind of awesome!
9.) It’s a break from the hustle and bustle of Christmas.
We won’t even wake you up if you fall asleep!
10.) Give the ones you bring the greatest gift, the gift of Christmas.
God has given us the greatest gift that could ever be imagined, the gift of adoption. Jesus, coming as the baby in the manger is our reminder of the lengths God went to so that we could be called sons and daughters of God. We have been given something is priceless. Something we can’t even understand. Share it with those you love the most by inviting them to be with us on Sunday.
