We would like to invite you to join us for our Christmas Candlelight service on Friday, December 23rd, at 6:00 pm!

Why December 23?

We are a family-centered church, and we don’t want our Christmas Eve service to be a source of contention for families. We don’t want families to have to choose between going to church and spending time with extended family who may only be together this one time of the year. So for the last 10 years, we have had our Candlelight service one day early.

Who Are We?

We are a Bible-believing, Gospel-driven Christian church that just moved to Battleground, WA, in September of 2022. You may want to check out our beliefs page just to be sure that we don’t believe something you think is weird. We are located at 606 NE 1st St., one block north of Main Street and one block west of Grace Ave (kind of behind Music World).

We are a Purple Church. What does that mean? It means that we don’t allow politics to be the driving force of our church. We believe that we are united with all Christians under the higher calling of Jesus. We don’t have to agree with one another politically because that’s NOT the most important thing. Jesus is. We teach the whole Bible without skirting any tough issues. Our desire is to be a place where people of all political backgrounds, whether they lean left or right, consider themselves red or blue, we believe we should be able to come together, reds and blues, to be a purple church.

What Should I Expect?

We are a casual church. You can feel free to dress however you like. We will sing some Christmas carols together, accompanied by a small band. We will light the Advent candles as we tell the story of Christmas. We will all light candles as we sing Silent Night. And we will have some Christmas cookies and Hot Apple Cider.

If you’re looking for a service that isn’t on Christmas Eve, or if you’re looking to start a new Christmas tradition, consider yourself invited!
