Elf is a fun Christmas movie, but as we go through this series, we will discover that the issues Buddy deals with in the movie are also familiar to us. Just as we see in this first week of the series!
This week, we talk about how Buddy didn’t have a place to belong. He didn’t belong at the North Pole because he wasn’t an elf. He didn’t belong with his family because he was more like an elf than he was a human. He just didn’t feel like he had a spot at the table.
And as we dig a little deeper, we see that this isn’t just an issue for Buddy, but for many of us, including Zacchaeus. Listen in as we talk about how Jesus’ interaction with Zacchaeus speaks to us. (Luke 19:1-10)
