Hope…

There’s not a whole lot of hope in the world right now, is there? Well, we’re trying to change that.

There's only one way we know of to change that. You. Me. One person at a time. And the way we change it is to get back something that was lost. Relationship with our creator. We weren't made to survive this life, we were made to thrive. But the only way to thrive is by lining up our lives with life of the one who made us.

Can we ask you some questions?

1.) Do you feel anxious? Stressed? Worried? Frustrated?

2.) Do you feel like something is missing in your life? Do you have hope?

3.) Do you wish you could experience more of God's presence and power in your life?

4.) Do you want to spend more time with God but don't know how?

5.) If you could get some help with those things, would you want it?

Our #1 aim is to help you become more like Christ.

We don’t expect people to be perfect. You don’t have to get your life together before coming to Christ. In fact, often times that’s counterproductive. At the same time we all have broken habits and ways of thinking that keep us going to the same dry wells. And, while God does the bulk of the work in our spiritual transformation, we cannot sit idly by. We must be participants.
We aren’t the average church. We don’t say that to put down any other church, we actually work hard to partner with and be united with all churches. But, what God has given us to do may be different from what God has given other churches to do.
As a church, we have doubled down on transformation. Other than the Gospel, (which is all about transformation by the way), there is nothing we cling to more tightly than seeing people become more like Christ. It’s not easy, it doesn’t happen over night. But it’s worth every ounce of effort.

6:8 is a family. We loved how welcomed we felt.

Kaycee M.

I love that we have a heart and put allot of effort into helping the people many would ignore or not have opportunity to help, especially young boys without a father in the picture

Russ M.

I love how 6:8 church is the only one I’ve been to where I don’t feel judged. Everyone there has a past and we all come together to deal with that and grow together in our relationship with Christ.

Alannah B.

I love 6:8 because I feel like were all family. I feel safe. I feel such love from everyone. I can count on everyone if I have a problem, or I just need a hug. I am comfortable.
