Family Devotional
Passover is one of the most powerful moments in Scripture. God told His people to mark their doors with the blood of a lamb. When judgment came, God Himself stood between His people and danger.
In your chapter, the kids saw Hebrew families preparing quickly—trusting God even when they didn’t understand. They saw fear in Egypt, but safety behind the marked door. And they saw the hunter—“the god of this age”—kept outside because he cannot cross a bloodline God protects.
Peace didn’t come from the night being quiet. Peace came because God stood guard.
