We take a lot of things for granted in our lives. We’ve got a lot of comforts and amenities. We have a lot of things that make our life much easier. And even within our plush lives, we still find a way to take things for granted. But, the greatest travesty of all is when we take for granted the work that Jesus did for us on the cross. Even worse than that is when we start to think we have done something, anything to deserve it. When we see the crucifixion for what it is, it changes who we are and how we live.
